Microsoft is planning to roll out a new version of the operating system to Windows 10 users by the end of this year.
In a blog post today, Microsoft said it is launching the new version with two new features: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and the ability to update apps directly to Windows Update.
Microsoft’s Anniversary Update will arrive to users this fall, and it will have many of the same features that Microsoft has offered since the launch of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, including new features such as Cortana, Microsoft Edge, and new features to improve performance.
The Anniversary Update is also a new release that will not be supported by current versions of Windows, but instead will be rolled out through the Windows Store.
The new update is also designed to work with the new hardware that is in use on modern computers.
The Anniversary Update comes with many improvements and security updates, but it will not include any additional security updates.

“It’s going to be a pleasure for us to build this amazing experience with Windows 10 and the people who love it.
And so, I’m excited to be delivering it to you.”
Microsoft says the Anniversary update will be available in the Store in a few months.
Microsoft will release the Anniversary version of its Windows 10 operating system via the Windows Insider Program in September.
Microsoft is not yet releasing any of the updates directly to users, but customers will be able to download the update through the store.
Microsoft has said that its Windows Store app is the only place where users can download updates for the operating systems, but Microsoft is rolling out the update via the Internet through a separate program called the Windows Update portal.
The Windows Update program is also the only way to get Windows 10 updates.
